C V Devan Nair
Singapore's 3rd president, Mr C V Devan Hair, passed away yesterday morning. Read a summary of his life story here.Seem like a great man, set up a lot of things, but heard that he had a drinking problem which resulted in him resigning, I think. Then again, heard that it was unclear why he did. If you all saw in the news the clip where the then-PM Lee read something regarding that matter you should know. (Incoherent sentence.) Moved to Canada and that was where he lived till he passed away.

er.. was Devan Nair elected? The first elected one isn't it Ong Teng Cheong?
yeah, he was elected wat... no mehz.. 3rd elected.. ong teng cheong was 5th elected..
oops! my mistake! i can't believe i actually made that mistake... so bimboistic... thx, i corrected it already!
