"Get a boyfriend!"
I just visited my newly-wedded cousin and his wife's house again when before leaving my mom told me, "You'd better get a boyfriend ah!"I raise my eyebrow.
I replied, "Aiya, I'm 19 only!" Lowers eyebrow.
She said, "19 very old already ah. Quickly 28 years old must 'jia chu qu' (get married)."
I raise my eyebrow and the muscle beneath my eyebrow gets a spasm.
This is a first.
For the first time in my 19 years of life, my mom tells me to get a boyfriend. I am amused. Well, the pressure is on.
